Job summary

Sodexo at Ohio Northern University is seeking a Groundskeeper for varied part-time shifts. You will help maintain the property landscape using hand and power tools and support a safe, productive work environment.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of related experience, horticultural training, pesticide/herbicide licenses, and a valid driver's license. The role offers a flexible schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Landscape or maintain grounds using hand or power tools or equipment.
• Various tasks include sod laying, mowing, trimming, edging, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, irrigation, and snow/ice management.
• Attends shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned per client requirements.

Pay Range:

$15.70 per hour - $15.70 per hour

What You'll Do:

As a Groundskeeper at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. We will rely on your expert knowledge to identify and maintain the property landscape.

Responsibilities include:

• Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment
• Work typically consists of a variety of tasks; examples include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, edging, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, irrigation, sweeping of parking lots and sidewalks, snow and ice management, and sports field setup and maintenance.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1-2 years of related work experience
• Horticultural training required.
