Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to maintain flower beds, shrubs, and irrigation systems across our campus. This role oversees the lawn service contractor and ensures resident dignity, rights, and compliance with regulations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of related landscaping/grounds keeping experience. Candidates should be prepared to perform outdoor work and maintain campus beautification.

• Basic understanding of plant care and outdoor maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Daily removal of debris and blowing walkways across campus.
• Clean gutters and perform basic ladder work as needed.
• Pressure wash walkways and driveways.
• Maintain irrigation equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Beautify and maintain the grounds of the entire campus.

Job description

We are currently seeking afull-time Groundskeeper. This position is directly responsible for the maintenance of flower beds, shrubs, hedges, and entire irrigation systems. Oversees the performance of the lawn service contractor and performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance. Preserves residents' dignity, honors resident's rights, provides good customer service, communicates appropriately, and adheres to federal and state compliance regulations. GROUNDSKEEPER ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Daily blowing of walkways and collect debris throughout the entire campus/property.
• Clean and remove leaves/debris from all gutters of buildings and residential units (when applicable).
• Clean gutters and downspouts on single family residences and town homes. Must climb ladders to perform this duty.
• Pressure wash walkways and driveways throughout the entire campus/property.
• Maintain the irrigation equipment in proper working conditions on the entire property.
• Responsible for the beautification of the ground for the entire campus/property.

GROUNDSKEEPER ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in landscaping and/or ground keeping.
