Job summary

Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, TN is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to support the maintenance of the golf course and surrounding landscapes.

The role requires operation of hand and power tools, knowledge of turf care, and a commitment to a clean, safe work environment for members and guests. Compensation starts at $18 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth within Troon management.

Qualifications

• Maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Operate hand and power tools and golf course equipment.
• Provide clear oral and written instructions.
• Grade, seed, sod, fertilize, mulch and prep grounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide a memorable guest experience.
• Must be team oriented.
• Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds, hand rakes bunkers, edges bunkers, string trims and push mows areas not cut by large area mower, cleans grounds of trash and debris, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Vanderbilt Legends Club, located in Franklin, TN, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Groundskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:

$18.00 per hour

Summary:

The Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must possess the ability to maintain landscaping on the golf course


• Must possess the ability to operate all hand tools and power tools such as string trimmer, edger, hedge trimmer, chainsaw, golf utility cart, etc. and equipment related to golf course grounds maintenance operations


• Ability to give oral and written instructions


• Skilled in grading, seeding, sodding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation


• Must be dependable
