St. Leonard in Dayton, OH, is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds, gardens, walks, and roads in a safe, attractive condition. The grounds staff are on-call for snow and ice removal during winter, ensuring a pristine, welcoming campus.

Responsibilities include operating mowing, trimming, pruning equipment and keeping outdoor lighting and roads in safe condition. The role encompasses varied maintenance tasks and projects on site.

• Operates equipment to mow, trim, prune, plant, and spray grass, trees and shrubbery.
• Maintains roads, walks, and outdoor lighting in safe condition and free of hazards.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and vehicles with proper documentation.
• Takes part in a variety of grounds-related tasks and indoor maintenance projects.

Job Summary:
The Groundskeeper is required to perform all tasks required to maintain the grounds, gardens, walks, and roads in a safe, appealing condition. All Grounds staff is on-call for snow and ice removal in the winter.

Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates all equipment necessary to mow, trim, prune, plant, and spray grass, trees and shrubbery.
• Maintains all roads, walks, and outdoor lighting in safe working condition and free of hazards.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment and vehicles, along completing with appropriate documentation.
• Performs a variety of tasks assigned by work orders that relate to the grounds and landscape.
  Takes part in a variety of inside maintenance tasks and projects.
