Job summary

UG2 is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of a one-story shopping center property in Watertown. The successful candidate will take pride in creating a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while working safely in all weather conditions.

Key duties include litter removal, trash liner replacement, and operating golf carts, street sweepers, and pressure washers.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Groundskeeping, janitorial, landscaping or property maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn equipment such as golf carts, street sweepers and pressure washers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a clean environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Empty and replace trash can liners throughout the property.
• Pick up litter and debris across parking lots, sidewalks, landscaped areas, and common spaces.
• Operate a golf cart to patrol and maintain the property efficiently.
• Operate a street sweeper to maintain clean roadways and parking areas.
• Use pressure washers to clean sidewalks, curbs, storefront areas, and other exterior surfaces.
• Monitor the property for cleanliness, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Assist with seasonal and weather-related cleanup including rain, snow, or storm debris removal as needed.
• Maintain equipment and tools in safe working condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and property regulations.
• Provide professional and courteous interaction with tenants, customers, and team members.
