Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Groundskeeper to perform landscaping and grounds maintenance on Brevard’s campus. Responsibilities include trash removal, snow/ice removal, recycling, event setup, and general cleaning.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be able to operate tractors and heavy equipment (tractor, dump truck, chainsaw, shrub trimmer) and hold a valid driver's license with few points.

Description

This position will perform basic landscaping and grounds maintenance work on Brevard’s beautiful campus. Duties may include trash removal, snow/ice removal, recycling, special events setup and general cleaning. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for promoting excellent environmental services, providing facilities upkeep, and ensuring the highest degree of cleanliness.

A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. Applicant must be able to drive a tractor and dump truck and operate other equipment such as a chainsaw and shrub trimmer. A valid driver’s license is required with fewer than 3 points.
