Arlington Properties is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain our community grounds. Responsibilities include keeping the property, stairways, and public areas clean and assisting with basic maintenance tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining beautiful surroundings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Groundskeeping: Inspect and clean grounds, remove trash, sweep walkways, rake grounds, and ensure areas are well-maintained.
• Maintenance Assistance: Support the Service Manager with cleaning, minor repairs, and unit preparations.
• Safety & Inspections: Check for hazards and report issues.
• Supply Management: Help maintain storage areas and organize supplies.
• Pool Maintenance: Assist with pool upkeep and cleanliness, if applicable.
• Trash Removal: Empty trash and maintain dumpster area.
• Snow & Ice Removal: Clear walkways during winter weather.
• Customer Service: Address residents' maintenance concerns professionally.

• Experience in groundskeeping, cleaning, or basic maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience: No experience required; must work well in a team, communicate effectively in English, and provide good customer service.

Machines, Tools, and Equipment: Hand tools, power tools (e.g., circular saw, power drill, hedge trimmer), motorized vehicles, and chemicals related to maintenance and landscaping.

Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; EPA or CFC certification required.

Other Requirements: Professional attire, flexibility to work any day of the week, ability to work outside in all weather, lift up to 100 pounds, and work at heights as needed.
