Job summary

Presbyterian Living is seeking a Groundskeeper to join Lake Forest Place, Arlington Heights area, supporting the facilities team with lawn care and landscape maintenance. The role runs 8am–4pm, five days a week, and is based at Lake Forest Place in IL.

The successful candidate will help keep grounds attractive and safe for residents and guests. We value team players who are dedicated and self-motivated, with at least 2 years of groundskeeping experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Groundskeeping experience.
• Team Player, Dedicated and Self-Starter traits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, trimming, raking, and watering lawns and landscaped areas.
• Availability outside regular work hours may be required for snow and ice removal.
• Perform routine edging of garden beds and walkways to keep borders clean and defined.
• Fertilize soil and landscaped areas to promote healthy plant growth.
• Water flowers, shrubs, and other greenery using irrigation systems or manual methods as needed.
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and flower beds to maintain appearance and plant health.
