Erickson Senior Living’s Emerson Lakes in Lakewood Ranch, FL is hiring a Grounds Worker I to maintain exterior areas and support the grand opening of a premier continuing care community. You will help create a beautiful, safe environment for residents across living options.

The role offers competitive hourly pay, benefits, and growth opportunities as Erickson expands Emerson Lakes and its other communities. Valid driver’s license preferred for vehicle operation, with potential on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of landscaping or grounds experience preferred.
• Able to lift/move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required if operating Community vehicles.
• Must be able to work independently.
• May be required to work a non-standard schedule; on-call schedule possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of all lawns, trees, gardens and shrubbery.
• Upkeep of all exterior areas; including trash removal, weeding, pet stations, dog runs, fencing, etc.
• Installation and maintenance of exterior signs.
• Assist residents with gardening.
• Assist in the snow removal of the community.
• Assistance in the maintenance of all associated equipment.
• Application of landscaping chemicals.
