Job summary

Woodfield Country Club is seeking a Grounds Worker/Landscaper to maintain the golf course grounds and turf, ensuring playing condition as directed by supervisors. The role requires operating turf equipment, mounting hoses for irrigation, and performing routine maintenance.

The candidate should have good communication skills, a valid Florida driver's license, and experience driving mowers, tractors, and push mowers. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and turf of golf course in playing condition as directed by supervisors.
• Connect hoses and sprinkler systems to irrigate turf.
• Dig and rake ground to prepare greens, grade and clean traps, and repair rosebeds.
• Plant, trim, and spray trees and shrubs.
• Operate equipment and mowers for course maintenance and safety checks.
• Clean machinery after use and report problems to supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance and return equipment to maintenance facility.

Woodfield Boca Raton is seeking a skilledGrounds Worker/Landscaper.Responsibilities includemaintaininggrounds and turf of golf course in playing condition as directed by supervisors.Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

• Must comply with all department policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Connects hose and sprinkler systems at designated points on course to irrigate turf.
• Digs and rakes ground to prepare new greens, grades and cleans traps, and repairs rosebeds.
• Plants, trims, and sprays trees and shrubs.
• Safety operates equipment and mowers and pluggers used for various course maintenance needs.
• Cleans machinery after each use.
• Inspects machinery/reports equipment problems to supervisor.
• Makes necessary minor adjustments to equipment.
• Loads and unloads materials.
• Trims trees and removes cuttings.
• Collects and empties litter cans.
• Cleans gutters, drains, and culverts.
• Cuts grass, weeds, and bushes.
• Operates turf vac, skip loader, fairway and rough aerifier.
• May operate smaller equipment as directed by his/her supervisor.
• Ensures that the equipment cooling system is working at all times; refills fuel and oil daily; cleans equipment daily, and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately.
• Provides basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the equipment manager or supervisor and returns equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility.
• Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS
