Job summary

RI Council 94 is seeking a Groundskeeper for Beazley Building in Cranston, RI. The role involves maintaining grounds for outdoor recreational areas, including seeding, mowing, trimming, and general landscaping under supervision.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of groundskeeping methods and techniques.
• Ability to mix and apply chemicals, fertilizers, top dressings.
• Operate and make minor repairs to grounds maintenance equipment.
• Ability to lay out and supervise the work of others when assigned.
• Physically qualified to perform duties per physician's certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds for outdoor recreational activities: seeding, mowing, trimming, rolling and watering.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides and top dressings as directed.
• Inspect grounds and supervise laborers when assigned; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with snow removal and equipment prep during off-season as needed.
