Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Grounds Technician to join our on-site operations team. You will help maintain the apartment community, perform grounds upkeep, and ensure a positive resident experience.

Responsibilities include mowing and landscaping tasks, irrigation monitoring, snow removal, and reporting any issues to management. The role requires outdoor work, physical endurance, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Able to shovel snow and spread salt during snow season.
• Capable of working outdoors in wide temperature ranges.
• Lift at least 20 pounds and push/pull up to 80 pounds.
• Experience with irrigation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of apartment community and grounds.
• Perform upkeep on parking lots, grounds, corridors, stairs, laundry rooms, and mechanical rooms.
• Collect and remove trash as needed.
• Weed landscape beds and maintain borders.
• Monitor irrigation to ensure healthy grass areas.
• Repair or replace sprinkler heads and lines as required.
• Report unhealthy lawn, trees, shrubs, or plants to management.
• Maintain neat appearance with edging around trees and borders.
• Rake grounds and sweep sidewalks/parking lots; perform additional duties as assigned.
