The Grounds Support Technician is responsible for maintaining the daily appearance, cleanliness, and upkeep of both indoor and outdoor areas across New Freedom facilities. This role helps ensure facility grounds, entrances, parking lots, courtyards, common areas, and support spaces remain safe, clean, and well-maintained while supporting housekeeping and facilities operations.

High School or better in General Studies or related field.
Strong communication, organizational, time management, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently with initiative
Must be punctual, reliable, and accountable to meet departmental and operational needs
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and correctly
Ability to perform work which requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand and wrist motions, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to routinely lift and carry items weighing 30-50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to work extended hours or outside normal scheduling as needed
Must adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency with computer systems and software, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Team), internet-based tools, and electronic documentation systems or Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Must be 21 years or older
Experience operating landscaping machinery (e.g., trimmers, blowers, mowers, pressure washers) safely and effectively
Experience working in environments requiring adherence to safety protocols, PPE, and risk prevention standards
