Responsibilities

• Operates equipment and performs manual work for city streets, drainage, parks, and recreation facilities.
• Maintains inventory of tools, supplies and materials.
• Transports and loads materials and equipment for projects.
• Performs road construction and maintenance tasks.
• Performs landscaping and groundskeeping for parks and facilities.
• Operates equipment and ensures safety of workers and others.
• Responds to emergency calls during adverse weather or emergencies.
• Supports event setup and traffic control as needed.
• Prepares forms, reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Communicates with various departments and the public to coordinate work.
