Job summary

CEF IHQ in Warrenton, MO is seeking a diligent Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance, repair, and minor construction across multiple trades to meet CEF standards. This full-time role requires defect prevention, adherence to safety protocols, and responsive on-call coverage.

The specialist will handle carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, grounds care, mechanical, energy management, fire and life safety, and security systems while maintaining records and supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Landscaping experience is a plus.

• Maintains a broad working knowledge of materials, systems and code requirements related to maintenance of CEF IHQ.
• Responds to campus emergencies and closures including adverse weather to ensure that all facilities are protected and remain operations.
• Knows and understands all safety procedures of CEF.
• On-call 24/7 to handle emergency and/or security issues.
• Maintains appropriate records and reports.
• Keeps the property maintained by plowing, mowing, weeding etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Grounds Supervisor.

Job Location: Warrenton, MO 63383, Position Type: Full Time, Job Category: Facilities, Performs skilled maintenance, repair, adjustment and minor construction work in the trades to ensure that facilities are properly maintained and meet CEF standards. Duties may fall into a variety of trades, not limited to but including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, grounds and landscaping, mechanical, energy management, fire and life safety and keys/security systems.

This position carries the responsibility for a wide variety of non-routine assignments across multiple trades. This position provides input to management regarding the work.

Essential Job Functions

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions.
• May be exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, noise and temperature extremes.
• Position involves frequent bending, standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, reaching below and above shoulders, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. while performing job duties.
• Wrist, hand and finger dexterity is required to operate various equipment and materials.
