State of South Carolina is seeking a dedicated grounds keeper to maintain a 2400-acre complex. The role requires mowing, landscaping, trimming shrubs, and assisting with environmental fire breaks; heavy equipment operation and road/runway maintenance.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid SC driver's license, pass background check and drug test, and be able to work shifts. Benefits include health/dental, retirement plans, paid leave, and telecommuting options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and grounds keeping experience.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug testing.
• Ability to work shifts or extended hours.

Responsabilités

• Perform grounds keeping duties across 2400-acre complex, including mowing, raking leaves and landscaping.
• Trim, fell, and dispose of shrubbery and trees; assist with control burns and fire breaks.
• Maintain outfall culverts, operate heavy equipment, and perform road, runway, and perimeter maintenance.
• Install traffic signs and pavement markings; perform concrete/asphalt work and fencing maintenance.
• Lift 50+ pounds, follow safety practices, work with minimal supervision and train others.
