Job summary

Great Escapes RV Resorts is hiring a Maintenance & Grounds Crew member to maintain our camp-resort facilities, grounds and equipment across several locations in the United States. The role emphasizes safety, reliability and a hands-on approach to daily upkeep and guest comfort.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, mowing, operating basic maintenance equipment, and supporting a planned maintenance program. Weekend and evening availability is required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain camp-resort facilities, equipment, and grounds to a high standard.
• Inspect and service recreation facilities and equipment as needed.
• Mow, weed, and perform grounds upkeep.
• Experience driving large tractors is a plus.
• Be available on weekends and evenings as required.
• Attend weekly team meetings and follow maintenance schedules.
• Support a planned maintenance program to avoid interruptions and uphold standards.
• Learn to balance pool chemicals and safety procedures.

Great Escapes RV Resorts is a growing company specializing in acquisition, development, and management of RV Resorts throughout the United States. Our leaders serve a diverse sector of the RV resort / hospitality industry.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS(these duties include, but are not limited to):

The Maintenance & Grounds Crew is responsible for the overall maintenance of the camp-resort, including but not limited to the facilities, equipment, and overall resort appearance.

• Help Inspect and maintain recreation facilities and equipment.
• Mowing, weed-wicking, weeding, etc. required.
• Experience driving large tractors is a plus.
• Must be available weekends and evenings.
• Attendance at weekly team meetings.
• Help maintain a planned maintenance program to ensure that sites and services continue operation without interruption and to the required standards.
• Learning how to check and balance chemicals in the pool.

Marginal Job Functions:

• Removal of trash and preparation of campsites for new guests.
• Other Job Duties as assigned.
• Possess exceptional guest relations skills.
• Weekend & holiday hours are required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is an extremely physically active position. Employees are regularly required to stand, walk and run. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions (hot and humid, rainy, extreme temperatures, airborne particles)
