Job summary

Pay-Less Markets is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker in Guam. You will maintain outdoor areas at multiple Pay-Less Markets sites, operating gas-powered equipment to cut grass, blow debris, and dispose of waste.

You may start early at 4am, travel to sites in assigned vehicles, and follow weekly scheduling. Responsibilities include waterblasting, trash disposal, and ensuring safety of customers and property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license and chauffer’s license preferred.
• Experience operating gas-powered maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Blow or sweep cut greenery; dispose of debris at each site.

This includes bush cutting, raking, water blasting, cleaning, trash disposal, and more to ensure the Payless Markets sites are presentable and in good condition. Equipment and Supplies will be provided by Department Manager.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Schedule to be distributed weekly.* At scheduled site, cut the grass with the proper equipment, to a height agreed upon by Department Manager.* Using company equipment, blow or sweep the cut greenery and dispose accordingly.* On designated schedule days, waterblast the front customer facing store facility and the trash bin.* Trash to be disposed of at all sites after cleaning.* Ensure consumers, consumer vehicles, and consumer property is protected from any moving debris, rocks, or other possible damages.* Always ensure safe usage and storage of all company property.* As needed, support Warehouse operations.* Communicates effectively with all store employees and Payless Customers.* Dress presentable at all times.
