Job summary

Paylocity seeks a full-time Grounds Maintenance worker in Idaho to maintain the grounds under the supervision of the Grounds Supervisor. You will operate a range of commercial equipment and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

This role requires outdoor work in varying weather, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will learn irrigation and landscape maintenance, pesticide and fertilizer programs, and assist with seasonal projects.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to perform heavy physical labor.
• Ability to read and adhere to safety standards in English.
• Ability to learn pesticide, fertilizer, and irrigation programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a wide variety of commercial grade power equipment.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment, shovels, and salt spreaders.
• Learn and apply pesticide, weed, and fertilizer applications.
• Learn and operate irrigation systems and maintain landscapes.
• Identify and eradicate weeds; maintain waterways and fish habitat as needed.
• Perform general building and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Work flexible hours including weekends as required.
