Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain multifamily properties on-site. The role covers grounds upkeep, exterior building care, parking areas, and supporting make-ready units.

The position involves physical outdoor work, basic landscaping, and coordination with the maintenance team. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 1–3 months experience and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager/Community Manager (trash pickup, cleaning dumpster areas, power washing, etc.).
• Thoroughly clean breezeways, mop floors, wipe doors and handrails.
• Perform basic landscaping tasks such as trimming, watering, irrigation monitoring, and debris removal.
• Assist in preparing make-ready units and removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs).
• Conduct preventive maintenance to uphold property quality and safety.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate status to residents and team.
• Report supply needs and maintain shop organization.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and contractors to ensure seamless property upkeep.
• Assess property safety and cleanliness to meet regulatory standards and resident well-being.
• Maintain grounds and assist with interior/exterior painting as needed.
