Job summary

VersAbility Resources is seeking a dependable Grounds Maintenance Worker to support a government contract at the Yorktown site. This outdoor role involves mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, planting, mulching, and general landscape upkeep while safely operating commercial equipment.

The ideal candidate should be able to work outdoors in varying weather, follow written instructions, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Landscaping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial grounds maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain background investigation or credential required by government contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial grounds maintenance in accordance with contract requirements.
• Mow, edge, trim, prune, plant, mulch, and perform seasonal grounds maintenance.
• Safely operate equipment including mowers, trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
• Inspect and report maintenance needs or safety concerns; keep area clean and organized.
