Job summary

State of Louisiana is seeking a Groundskeeper for Camp Villere Garrison. Responsibilities include maintaining the installations grounds, flowerbeds, road medians, fences, and trees, and operating grounds equipment.

You will also assist with maintenance repairs and respond to work orders. The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work during emergencies, and successful completion of required training.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License.
• Must be available to report for emergency or disaster duties.
• Must meet physical requirements to perform duties.
• Must attend Louisiana Military Department annual training.

Responsibilities

• Provides Camp Villere Garrison Manager with groundskeeper maintenance.
• Maintains grounds, flowerbeds, road medians, fence lines and trees; performs weed eating, mulching, pruning, trimming.
• Operates and maintains grounds equipment and tools; assists with maintenance repairs and work orders.
