Job summary

Royal American Companies is seeking an entry-level Porter for Willow Lake in Miami Gardens, FL. The role covers maintaining community grounds and adhering to OSHA safety standards in a full-time, 30+ hours/week schedule.

The Porter will assist with lawn care, cleaning, and basic repairs, while communicating with supervisors and supporting after-hours emergencies as needed. Strong attendance and professionalism are required.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow written work orders.
• Able to complete handwritten/typed reports.
• Read and follow safety manuals and labels.
• Willing to accept other tasks.

Responsibilities

• Practice OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Complete safety training as required.
• Complete a hazard assessment before tasks.
• Water plants daily and care for foliage per manager.
• Mow, trim, fertilize, rake lawns and shrubs.
• Paint exteriors, pick up litter, maintain lights and gates.
• Assist with pool care and grounds equipment maintenance.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain cleaning equipment per guidelines.
• Standby emergency schedule evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Communicate with supervisor daily.
• Maintain property uniform and professional appearance.
• Ensure storage areas and lighting are adequate.
• Assist custodial tasks and other team members.
