ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Laborer to support the facility operations and maintenance for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in N. Charleston SC.

Description:

• Ability to work individually and as a member of a team taking direction from the supervisor.
• Ability to perform work in adverse weather conditions if needed.
• Ability to operate power landscape equipment and hand tools.
• Completes various turf maintenance tasks including litter pick-up, weed eating, edging, blowing, grass cutting with zero turn mowers.
• Completes various bed maintenance tasks including hedging, trimming, pruning, weeding, planting trees, shrubs and flowers, cultivating, raking, and mulching.
• Remove snow/ice from walkways, spread salt/sand.
• Ability to adapt to other duty requirements as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2 years' experience in grounds maintenance.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a drug and physical exam.
• Must have a valid SC Driver's License and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must be able to support scheduled hours of operation.
