ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Laborer to support facility operations and maintenance for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in N. Charleston, SC.

Description

• Ability to work individually and as a member of a team taking direction from the supervisor.
• Ability to perform work in adverse weather conditions if needed.
• Ability to operate power landscape equipment and hand tools.
• Complete turf maintenance tasks including litter pick-up, weed eating, edging, blowing, grass cutting with zero-turn mowers.
• Complete bed maintenance tasks including hedging, trimming, pruning, weeding, planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, cultivating, raking, and mulching.
• Remove snow/ice from walkways, spread salt/sand.
• Adapt to other duty requirements as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in grounds maintenance.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam.
• Valid SC Driver's License and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Follow instructions and support scheduled hours of operation.
