Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment's Busch Gardens Williamsburg is seeking a motivated grounds crew member to help prepare the park for guest arrivals each day. You will use gas-powered vacuums, blowers and water hoses to clean areas and support safe, high-energy experiences.

Starting at 5:00 AM, you will work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate clearly with teammates and guests. Benefits include free park admission and team camaraderie.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be available to start at 5:00AM.
• Valid VA driver's license preferred.
• Must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in outside weather conditions (i.e., sunny, wet, and/or humid conditions)
• Be exposed to fumes, dust, and/or odor
• Be exposed to loud noises and vibrations
• Work with chemicals
• Must be able to positively interact with park guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or languages, and individuals with special needs

Responsibilities

• Have basic understanding of grounds equipment
• Use gas powered vacuums/blowers and high pressure water hoses to clean areas of the park
• Assist with cleaning of equipment and proper storage
• Prepare Busch Gardens Williamsburg for guest arrival
• Other duties as assigned
