Job summary

Brophy College Preparatory is seeking a Grounds Landscaping Maintenance Technician to care for the look, safety, and functionality of Brophy's outdoor spaces. You will perform mowing, pruning, irrigation maintenance, waste disposal, and setup/teardown for events.

The role requires experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping, the ability to work outdoors, and the ability to pass E-Verify and a background check. Office hours are 40 per week with potential for weekend or evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Ability to pass E-Verify and a criminal background check.
• Ability to read safety labels and instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding turf and landscape areas.
• Pruning and planting trees and shrubs.
• Maintaining irrigation systems, sprinkler repair and replacement.
• Collecting and disposing of campus waste and recyclables.
• Setting up and tearing down equipment for campus events.
• Cleaning outdoor hardscapes, sidewalks, and parking areas.
• Coordinating with facilities on campus projects.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
