Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Groundskeeper in Miami to maintain and improve site grounds, including mowing, trimming and seasonal tasks. You will apply maintenance plans, perform planting, pruning and cleanup, and operate a range of landscape equipment to keep sidewalks and parking areas in top condition.

Role requires basic groundskeeping knowledge, a valid driver's license, and adherence to safety policies. You may participate in minor equipment repairs, and work outdoors in varied weather conditions

Qualifications

Previous experience in groundskeeping or horticulture preferred.
Non commercial driver's license required.
Working knowledge of groundskeeping principles and power landscape equipment.
Must be able to adhere to safety procedures.
Work involves exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

Maintains and improves facility grounds based on established sustainability guidelines.
Applies planned designs to resolve landscaping needs.
Performs tasks such as planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking, salting, shoveling snow, removing ice, etc.
Operates equipment including power mowers, saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, sprayers, etc.
May operate trucks, tractors and attachments used to maintain grounds as needed.
Responsible for cleaning and upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etc.
Performs regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment and tools.
Adheres to all safety policies and procedures and reports malfunctions/defects to supervisor immediately.
