Job summary

Rogue Valley Manor in Medford, Oregon is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor spaces and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff. The role involves landscaping, basic upkeep, and support for events on a vibrant not-for-profit Life Plan campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of landscape equipment, chemicals, and safe operating procedures.
• Willingness to pursue a State Chemical Applicator License after hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance duties including landscaping, watering, debris removal, and general campus upkeep.
• Operate landscaping and light motorized equipment safely to complete projects and tasks.
• Assist with trash, recycling, and compost removal throughout the community.
• Perform cleaning projects including pressure washing, leaf and debris removal, fountain cleaning, and common area maintenance.
• Support event set up and takedown activities while maintaining tools and equipment.

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to help maintain and enhance our outdoor spaces while contributing to a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform grounds maintenance duties including landscaping, watering, debris removal, and general campus upkeep.
• Operate landscaping and light motorized equipment safely to complete assigned projects and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with trash, recycling, and compost removal throughout the community.
• Perform cleaning projects including pressure washing, leaf and debris removal, fountain cleaning, and common area maintenance.
• Support event set up and takedown activities while maintaining tools and equipment in good working order.

Pay:

Pay: $18.00 to $23.72 / hr DOE

About You:

• Minimum of one year of experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of landscape equipment, chemicals, and safe operating procedures.
• State Chemical Applicator License or willingness to pursue the license after hire.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering quality service for residents and guests.
