Job summary

Greenville Technical College is seeking a dedicated grounds maintenance technician to care for lawns, trees, shrubs, and irrigation systems on campus. Responsibilities include operating landscaping equipment, applying pest control products per label instructions, and supporting campus projects and events.

Responsibilities

• Operate lawn care equipment and maintain it per manufacturer specifications.
• Trim and maintain trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants for health and appearance.
• Apply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides following label instructions.
• Monitor property for debris and dispose of waste; keep hard surfaces clean.
• Install and maintain campus irrigation systems and monitor irrigation controls.
• Support projects and renovations; assist outside vendors and help with events.
