Job summary

Hume Christian Camps is seeking a Grounds & Facility Maintenance team member at Hume Lake, CA. The role supports safe, welcoming camp grounds by mowing, trimming, weeding, and performing general landscaping upkeep across lawns, trails, and roads.

The ideal candidate will have landscaping or grounds maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in all seasons, including high altitude. On-site housing and a faith-based workplace are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must be a team player, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to live in Hume Lake housing or arrange private accommodations.
• Willing and able to work outdoors in all seasons, including extreme weather and high-altitude conditions.
• Faith-based requirement: employee must affirm the organization's Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Mows, trims, weeds, waters, and maintains lawns, gardens, trails, and grounds.
• Performs routine upkeep of roads, walkways, and public areas, including litter removal and seasonal cleanup.
• Assists with snow removal and winter-weather preparedness.
• Reports facility and grounds issues to Maintenance Supervisor or Manager promptly.
