Job summary

The Management Group is seeking a dependable Porter to support a multifamily community in Portland, OR. You will help maintain clean, safe, and organized exterior grounds, common areas, storage spaces, offices, trash enclosures, and other shared property spaces.

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance with a consistent schedule.

• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Capability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, sweep and stay active through the shift.
• Professional and respectful communication with residents, clients and coworkers.
• Prior porter/janitorial/groundskeeping or custodial experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up leaves, debris, litter, and other materials from sidewalks, driveways, and building grounds.
• Clean and organize storage rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Clean trash chutes, garbage enclosures, dumpster areas, and compactor spaces.
• Empty and clean interior and exterior trash receptacles and pet waste stations.
• Sweep sidewalks, breezeways, walkways, and shared spaces.
• Remove trash and hazards from exterior areas and report safety concerns.
• Support seasonal projects like pressure washing, leaf removal, storm cleanup, and snow/ice mitigation when needed.
• Follow instructions from the Portfolio Manager and coordinate with team members.
