Job summary

The Bald Head Island Club is seeking a Grounds Crew member to join the golf course maintenance team. This seasonal, outdoors role supports turf and landscape care across the course and club properties, emphasizing physical work, safety, and teamwork.

You'll mow, trim, rake bunkers, prune plants, water and fertilize, assist irrigation repairs, and operate landscaping equipment under supervision. A valid driver's license is preferred, and lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

What You'll Do

Working under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, you'll help maintain the golf course and surrounding club properties, including:

• Maintaining turfgrass, landscaped areas, and facility grounds

• Mowing, trimming, blowing, and general landscape upkeep

• Raking bunkers and maintaining sanded areas

• Pruning trees, shrubs, and maintaining plant health

• Watering, fertilizing, and caring for flowers and native grasses

• Keeping club grounds clean and free of debris

• Assisting with irrigation repairs and maintenance

• Operating landscaping equipment and machinery safely

• Supporting special projects around the Club as needed
