Qualifications

• Design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Experience with operating greens and fairway mowers preferred.

• Operate all tools/equipment related to golf course operations.
• Ability to give oral and written instructions.
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.

• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Prince William Golf Course, located in Nokesville, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Grounds Crew! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality‑focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour

General Purpose

The Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas
• Waters tees, greens, and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as needed
• Grades and prepares soil base; lays sod and seeds greens, tees, and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Minimum Qualifications

Must possess the ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course

Experience with operating greens and fairway mowers preferred

Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping

Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations

Ability to give oral and written instructions

Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation

Must be dependable
