Sunstall Inc. is seeking a Grounds Laborer to maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of outdoor spaces at the facility. You will use mowing, trimming, and hand tools to complete daily tasks while collaborating with the grounds maintenance team to ensure a clean and safe environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of experience with lawn equipment. You will contribute to routine landscaping tasks and upkeep of outdoor areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months of experience with mowing and landscaping equipment.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools used in grounds maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities include

Landscaping&GroundsMaintenance:

3. Ensuretoolsandequipmentarecleaned,properlymaintained,andsafelystoredaftereachuse.
4. DebrisCleanup&WasteDisposal:
   1. Removedebris,trash,andotherrefusefromgrounds,sidewalks,parkinglots,andsurroundingareas.
   2. Safelydisposeoforganicwastematerials(e.g.,branches,clippings,leaves)inaccordancewithorganizationalpolicies.

General Maintenance:

1. Conductbasicmaintenanceandrepairstooutdoorequipment,irrigationsystems,andgrounds-relatedstructures(e.g.,benches,fences,planters).
2. Monitorlawnandplanthealth,reportingissuessuchaspestinfestations,deadplants,orwatersystemmalfunctions.

Safety Practices:

1. Followallsafetyprocedureswhenoperatingpowertoolsandheavyequipmenttoensurepersonalandteamsafety.
2. Useappropriatepersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE)whileworkingoutdoorsorhandlingtoolsandchemicals.

Seasonal Duties:

1. Performseasonaltaskssuchassnowandiceremoval,leafraking,andseasonalplantingofflowersorothervegetation.
2. Installand/orremoveholidaydecorationsorothertemporaryoutdoordisplaysasrequired.
3. Coordination&Teamwork:
   1. Collaboratewithfellowteammemberstocompletegroundskeepingprojectsandmeetdeadlinesefficiently.
   2. Takedirectionfromsupervisorsandreportanyissuesorneededrepairsimpactinggroundsmaintenance.
