Ohio History Connection is seeking a Grounds and Fleet Technician to maintain grounds across Central Ohio and support the organization’s vehicle and equipment fleet.
This role combines hands-on groundskeeping with preventative fleet maintenance, servicing mowers, tractors, and related equipment, while coordinating with vendors and traveling to statewide sites as needed. A high school diploma and 3–4 years of related experience preferred.

Location: Various sites within the Ohio History Connection site system
Compensation: $21-23/hour plus full benefits package
Summary:
The Grounds and Fleet Technician is responsible for maintaining grounds across Central Ohio and supporting the Ohio History Connection's vehicle and equipment fleet.
This position combines hands-on groundskeeping duties to ensure safe, functional, and visually appealing facilities with preventative fleet management and equipment maintenance.

Physical Demands:
Requires prolonged standing, walking, and bending. Requires frequent lifting up to 75 pounds. Required eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment along with basic hand and power tools. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
