Job summary

Lewis Tree Service is hiring a Groundperson to support vegetation management for utility partners and customers. You will clear vegetation around power lines, operate tools, and assist climbers from the ground while maintaining safety and efficiency on varied job sites.

Qualifications

• Groundperson certification or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• CPR/First Aid certification provided by Lewis is available.

Responsibilities

• Support vegetation management for utility partners and customers.
• Clear vegetation and debris from sites around power lines.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, blowers, sprayers.
• Assist climbers by spotting and handing up tools.
• Assist with rigging and felling of trees.
• Set up traffic control zones and direct traffic when needed.
• Travel frequently to different job sites.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
