Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Groundperson with a valid CDL in a full-time, non-exempt role. You will operate a chainsaw, cut brush, and feed material into a wood chipper. You will also maintain and service vehicles and equipment to keep them in good order.

CDL is required; you must be willing to join the local union and pay union dues. Education preference is a high school diploma or equivalent; entry-level applicants are welcome, with prior experience a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma preferred; no prior experience required but welcome.
• Entry-level position with potential for growth.
• Previous related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Service vehicles and equipment, keeping them in good mechanical order.

Education
