Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson Union CDL Required in New Jersey. This full-time, hourly role requires a valid CDL and union membership. Training provided; pre-employment screening may apply.

You will operate chainsaws, help prune brush and trees, feed debris into wood chippers, and maintain company equipment. Safety and reliability are essential in all weather conditions and job sites. Join a team that values safety, punctuality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Valid CDL license required.
• Willing to join local union and pay union dues.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
