Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson to support crew operations in Clemmons, NC. You will gather brush and debris, feed it into a wood chipper, and help keep work areas safe by scanning for trip hazards and keeping paths clear.

You'll operate a chainsaw for cutting brush and logs, and assist with servicing vehicles and equipment to keep them in good working order. This is an entry-level role with required safety awareness and a valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; entry-level position, no experience required.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background and MVR check may be required.
• Driver's License preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
