Job summary

GA Right of Way, a utility line clearance contractor, seeks full-time Groundman and Bucket Operator (Tree Trimmer) for Lakeland, Lake Wales, Winter Haven, Avon Park and Wauchula areas. Typical 10-hour days, 7:00am–5:30pm, with overtime and irregular hours as needed.

CDL-A permit within 60 days, ELDT certification assistance, and comprehensive benefits after 90 days; on-the-road work with physical requirements and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen and DOT physical.
• CDL-A permit required within 60 days; ELDT certification and CDL road test assistance provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate wood chipper to remove limbs and debris from job sites.
• Use chainsaw to remove trees and brush.
• Assist in roping/rigging operations.
• Daily equipment maintenance.
• Begin working to obtain Class-A CDL.
