Job summary

Georgia Right of Way, a utility line clearance contractor in Greensboro, GA, seeks full-time Groundman and Bucket Operator (Tree Trimmer) to support outdoor tree work and equipment operation. On-site work with safety training and advancement opportunities.

Typical 10-hour days from 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday–Thursday, with overtime. CDL-A path and ELDT certification assistance provided; drug screen and DOT physical required; comprehensive benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy outdoor work and be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to obtain CDL-A and complete ELDT certification.
• Ability to pass drug screen and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Using a wood chipper to remove limbs and debris from job sites
• Using a chainsaw to remove trees and brush
• Assisting in Roping/Rigging Operations
• Daily equipment maintenance
• Begin working to obtain Class-A CDL
