Job summary

Georgia Right of Way is hiring Groundman and Bucket Operator (Tree Trimmer) for local full-time work across Lakeland, Lake Wales, Winter Haven, Avon Park and Wauchula areas. Pay starts at $19.80 per hour, with overtime potential and 10-hour days from 7:00am to 5:30pm.

CDL-A Permit assistance and ELDT training are provided to help you advance. Employees receive a comprehensive benefits package after 90 days, including major medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Pass a drug screen and DOT Physical.
• CDL-A Permit required within 60 days with raise after completion; ELDT certification support.
• CDL Road Test assistance and ELDT training provided.
• Outdoor work in 10-hour days; overtime sometimes.
• Full-time benefits after 90 days (Major Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life, PTO).

Responsibilities

• Using a wood chipper to remove limbs and debris from job sites
• Using a chainsaw to remove trees and brush
• Assisting in Roping/Rigging Operations
• Daily equipment maintenance
• Begin working to obtain Class-A CDL
