Job summary

Mirra Co., LLC. is seeking a Groundman to assist aerial linemen with coax and fiber optic cabling installations and to help place anchors and hardware.

The role involves reading prints/maps, safety rules, and basic cabling concepts, with new hires trusted to truck CMVs as a primary function. The successful candidate will be on the ground with the team, support daily on-site activities, and work with various tools and equipment in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment random drug screen.
• Must pass background and Mass CORI check.
• OSHA 10 certification in construction.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Teamwork-oriented personality.
• Comfortable with working along roadsides.

Responsibilities

• Support team members on site for daily work activities.
• Operate Commercial Motor Vehicles.
• Manage site safety and keep hazards to a minimum.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, and more.
• Maintain safety practices and follow company policies.
