Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Skilled Laborer/Groundman to support all phases of telecom construction. You will work on outdoor sites, dig trenches, unload materials, and assist with aerial and underground cable systems.

Valid CDL and DOT Med card required with a clean MVR; you will learn Coax/Fiber splicing and other telecom trades while contributing to community projects. Pay ranges $20–$24/hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches and unload materials; prepare job sites with hand tools.
• Work at outdoor utility construction sites.
• Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites.

• Troubleshoot field issues and learn telecom tools and processes.
