Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a field laborer to assist line crews with digging trenches, loading materials, and operating hand and power tools on site.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and pass a drug screen and background check. CDL is a plus, and weekly pay with full benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or outdoor labor is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs) in varying weather.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• CDL or ability to obtain one is a significant advantage.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Perform basic flagging duties to direct traffic and ensure public and crew safety.
• Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain one is a significant advantage.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
