Job summary

SolPowerlines, LLC is seeking a physically capable team member to support construction and maintenance of power lines. You will perform manual tasks, assist with holes and trenching, and help keep tools organized.

Travel is required, overtime may be necessary, and you must be willing to pass background checks, medical exams, and drug testing; CDL training and distance travel may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Pass background check, medical exam and drug/alcohol testing.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work extended periods in various locations.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors, frequently in inclement weather.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual tasks in construction and maintenance of power lines.
• Assist crew with filling pole holes and trenching using a shovel.
• Flag traffic and set up job sites as directed.
• Maintain organization of tools and materials on work vehicles.
• Clean up and organize job sites upon completion of work.
• Receive training in operation of trucks, light equipment and tools when aptitude allows.
• Receive training in safety, first aid and related topics.

• Flag traffic and set up job sites as directed.
• Maintain organization of tools and materials on work vehicles.
• Clean up and organize job sites at completion of work.
• When aptitude is demonstrated and work allows, will receive training in the operation of some trucks, light equipment and tools.
• Will receive training in safety, first aid and other related topics.
• Willing to obtain CDL.
• Able / willing to travel long distances on short notice, when required.
• Able / willing to work for extended periods in various locations, when required.
• Able / willing to lift in excess of 50 lbs., when required.
• Able / willing to work outside, frequently in inclement weather.
• Able / willing to work Overtime, when required.
