Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Groundman Apprentice Lineman to support field operations and meet emergency needs in a NERC-regulated environment. You'll handle materials, equipment, and groundwork under supervision, with training to progress toward Journeyperson Lineman.

The role requires climbing poles, working in PPE, passing tests, and willingness to travel. CDL Class A and medical certification are required, with six-month credentialing eligibility.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required for 21+ and ability to obtain within six months if not possessed.
• Medical card or the ability to obtain within six months.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass qualification tests.
• Willingness to travel to various company locations and work sites.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Handles materials, tools, and tackles on the ground; digs and fills holes.
• Takes training to qualify for Apprentice Lineman Job Scope.
