Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Groundman for Apprentice Lineman roles within its transmission and distribution operations. This position supports line crews by handling materials and equipment, performing ground tasks, and progressing toward Journeyperson status through required training and qualification tests.

The role requires CDL A or intrastate CDL with medical card, ability to pass background and medical screenings, and willingness to work overtime, varying shifts, and outdoors in all weather

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform physically demanding tasks daily.
• Must pass qualification tests including outdoor Physical Abilities Test.

Responsibilities

• Handles materials, tools, and tackles on the ground; digs and fills holes.
• Takes training to qualify for Apprentice Lineman.
