Job summary

Tarantino Properties, Inc. is seeking a Groundkeeper for our Village at Piney Pointe Apartments in Houston to keep the grounds inviting and well-maintained.

You will perform turnover improvements, manage cleaning of common areas, interact with residents with friendly service, and support the maintenance team with light tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance or custodial experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris.
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas.
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas.
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents.
